Our Team

A retired actress, a 5th grade teacher, a therapist and a speech-language pathologist walk into a pottery studio… sounds like a terrible joke, right? Funny, because there actually was a LOT of laughter, a few surprises, some truly terrible pottery, but also the very beginnings of a non-profit. Turns out, most of us had ADHD and ALL of us were looking for better ways to support neurodivergent kiddos. With a generous serving of creative problem solving (an ADHD superpower) combined with some global thinking (a dyslexic superpower) and a dash of impulsivity (another neurodivergent specialty), we decided to create the world we want to live in– a world of respect and understanding for all kinds of brains– a world of Neurodiverse Connections.
